Three-star power forward Anthony Walker announced his commitment to the Miami basketball program on Saturday on Instagram Live. Walker is 6’8 205 pounds. He is the 142nd ranked player in the Class of 2019 and the 26th best power forward.
Walker’s commitment bumps the Miami recruiting Class up to 32nd nationally and fifth in the ACC. The Hurricanes previously receiving a commitment from four-star combo guard Isiah Wong. Walker is currently playing his final year of high school at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire.
His commitment to the Miami basketball program is critical. Miami will definitely lose two and possibly three frontcourt players following the 2018-19 season.
