Four-star 2020 forward Matt Cross is the 78th ranked player, 18th ranked small forward and number one player in New Hampshire. Cross tweeted out a simple picture of himself in a number 33 Miami basketball jersey with the concise statement “committed.” Cross is the first commitment to Miami for 2020.
Cross will help replace senior guard Dejan Vasiljevic and graduate transfer forward Keith Stone after the 2019-20 season. Stone is new to the Miami basketball program and will play his only season with the Hurricanes this upcoming year. Senior Center Nysier Brooks is sitting out the 2019-20 season after transferring from Cincinnati.
