Both Miami basketball alums are on their National teams’ rosters in qualifying for the World Cup. The USA is currently atop of Group C with a 4-1 record. The American Men have a current roster made up of mostly NBA G-League players.
McKinney-Jones has played the last four seasons with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the G-League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers. He averaged 12.1 Points Per Game. 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 36 games with the Mad Ants last season. McKinney-Jones played one minute in one game with the Pacers last season.
