Nysier Brooks is the fifth addition to the Miami basketball roster that will join the team for the 2019-20 season. Brooks is joined by incoming freshmen combo guards Isaiah Wong and Harlond Beverly, forward Anthony Walker and fellow transfer Keith Stone from Florida. Stone is a forward and will be eligible in 2019-20.
The Miami basketball team lost forward Anthony Lawrence Jr, center Ebuka Izundu, forward/center Dewan Hernandez and guard Anthony Mack from the 2018-19 team. Lawrence and Izundu graduated, Hernandez was suspended for the entire 2018-19 season and decided to forego his Senior year in 2019-20.
