The Miami baseball team enters the weekend 14-3 after sweeping a two-game midweek series against Jackson State. North Carolina is 14-4. The Tar Heels were swept by Clemson last weekend before winning mid-week games against Gardner-Webb and North Carolina Wilmington.

The Hurricanes avoided a sweep with a game three victory in a rain-shortened five innings. Miami’s only victory in their more recent trip to Chapel Hill in 2017 was in the final game of the series.
