On a special night where UM honored "The Wizard," Ron Fraser, they looked for a special performance on the diamond.
The "Canes showed a lot of heart, 3 times coming back from 1 run deficits deep in the game, before eventually falling in 17 innings, 8-7 to Florida State.
Early on it was not promising, as the 'Canes fell behind Noles 4-0 after 5.
But the middle on the line-up, Zack Collins, David Thompson, and Willie Abreu, all delivered big time RBIs and the Hurricanes evened things up at 4 after 7.
And that's how things would remain well into extra innings.
