With the ACC and SEC beginning nine game conference schedules in 2026, Miami and South Carolina mutually agreed to cancel their series over the next two seasons. Miami was scheduled to play at South Carolina in 2026 and host the Gamecocks in 2027.
Miami will host Florida A&M on September 12 and Central Michigan on September 26 in 2026 non-conference games and play at Notre Dame next season, with the date to be determined. Miami plays Utah in Las Vegas on September 4, 2027 and hosts Troy a week later in scheduled non-conference games in two years.
