Miami adds pitching depth with Austin Peay transfer Lyndon Glidewell

Miami received a commitment from Austin Peay pitcher Lyndon Glidewell on Thursday. Glidewell was 8-0 with a 3.36 earned run average in 14 appearances with 13 starts. Glidewell had a seven-inning no-hitter and earned a save in his one relief appearance.

In 77.2 innings, Glidewell allowed 61 hits and 34 walks, hit 14 batters and struck out 64. Glidewell earned second-team All-Atlantic Sun Conference. The no-hitter for Glidewell was at North Alabama and he allowed one hit with no walks.

Glidewell is the defacto replacement for Holy Cross transfer Danny Macchiarola, who signed with the Seattle Mariners after he was an eighth-round pick in the 2025 Major League Baseball Draft earlier this month.
