Miami Hurricanes coach Mario Cristobal opened fall camp with high energy, affirming that his program is progressing toward championship contention. Cristobal emphasized the strides the program has made since, particularly in recruiting and player development.
The coach reiterated that internal expectations exceed external ones, after the first day of fall camp.
"There’s always going to be excitement as it relates to that. The whole world knows who we’re playing game 1 and that can’t have a bearing on how we approach our process. We have to get really good at what we do."
A central theme was quarterback Carson Beck, who transferred from Georgia and returned from offseason UCL surgery.
