With the Miami football team fighting for its College Football Playoff life, the last thing this team needs is to deal with a serious injury for a key playmaker. Unfortunately, that's the case when it comes to standout cornerback Keionte Scott.
On Thursday night, CBS insider Matt Zenitz has reported that Scott is dealing with a lower extremity injury, which he suffered in Miami's lopsided win against Syracuse. Because of this, Scott won't be in action this weekend vs. NC State. On top of that, Zenitz's sources are telling him that Scott's status for the rest of the season is a bit up in the air.
