The Miami Hurricanes will have a stronger wide-receiver room this fall.
Colbie Young, a Class of 2022 junior college wide receiver, committed to Miami during his official visit to UM, Young told Rivals. He plans to enroll for the Summer B semester, he told the site.
Young was also considering Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech, among others.
Young, a Binghamton, New York, native, played his freshman year at Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, Young projects to be UM’s tallest wide receiver this season.
Last season, Young had 472 receiving yards and nine touchdown catches on 24 receptions.
