Good morning and happy Saturday Canes familia! Miami basketball remains on a long break while the football team prepares for it’s bowl game against Louisiana Tech - so we’ve had a bout of unusual quietness in Coral Gables during this time. Well, at least until wide receiver Jeff Thomas announced on Instagram that he was forgoing his senior season and the bowl game to enter the NFL draft. But besides that, the one thing that ought to remain on everyone’s mind is recruiting - with several blue chip recruits up for grab and Miami needing to close the deal.
Jeff Thomas is the second Cane to leave the program early and join the NFL.
