Miami Hurricanes Defensive end Jaelan Phillips was named first-team All-American and kicker Jose Borregales and punter Lou Hedley were named second-team All-Americans by CBS Sports on Wednesday morning.
A day after earning second-team All-ACC, Miami Hurricanes defensive end Jaelan Phillips was named first-team All-American by CBS Sports. Phillips finished the 2020 season with 45 tackles and led Miami with 15.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks before opting out for the Cheez-it Bowl against Oklahoma State on December 29.
Phillips finished fifth nationally in TFLs and 10th in sacks.
