Without question, 4-star ATH Jacolby Spells is near the top for Miami’s most wanted recruits in the 2022 class. Playing for Broward County powerhouse American Heritage, Spells was part of a Patriots team that captured a state championship in 2020, as one of the more dominating defensive squads in all of high school football.
As a junior, Spells began to make the transition from playing wide receiver to defensive back, where he was in a secondary that included Earl Little Jr. as well as 2021 Miami commit, 5-star safety James Williams.
