In the wildest comebacks in school history, an onside kick gave Miami the ball late in the 4th.

One of the more forgotten games in Miami history was in 1988, when the #1 Hurricanes traveled to Ann Arbor, to duel with the #15 Wolverines of Michigan.

It was an amazing afternoon in the Big House, as Miami quarterback Steve Walsh led one of the most amazing comebacks in school history, the Canes trailed 30-14 in the second half.

Now down 30-28 with under three minutes to go, coach Jimmy Johnson decided to go for the onside kick.

Defensive-back Bobby Harden snatched the onside kick out of the air, giving Miami’s offense the ball again.
