Nervous? Yeah, Brad Kaaya was nervous.
This was two years ago, before the then-freshman quarterback played Florida State, and he only felt sure of one thing.
"I knew who I could talk with," he says.
He called Gino Torretta, the 1992 Heisman Trophy winner.
"I told him, 'Don't put pressure on yourself,' and 'Let the 10 other guys out there help you,'" Torretta recalled saying. "Then I told him about my first game against Florida State.
"My first pass was intercepted. I threw four interceptions by half. I'm sure I told him, 'Trust me, you aren't going to have the worst game by a Miami quarterback against them.
