Hurricanes trail Louisville at halftime as a blue-chip recruit looks on

You knew Louisville was going to come into Hard Rock Stadium ready to play. And for the first 10 minutes, it was all Cardinals.

But Miami has since responded with a short touchdown run by Mark Fletcher and a 27-yard field goal from Carter Davis to make the halftime score 14-10. The Hurricanes have trailed for 23:55 of this game, almost three times longer than their combined minutes trailing in the first five games.

u200bCarson Beck has thrown two interceptions in the first half, but he's also been able to beat the Cardinals' stellar pass defense on a couple of deep balls, including this 39-yarder that led to the first Miami touchdown.
