Reid Mikeska wants to continue the tradition of excellent tight ends to come out of Miami — if he ultimately chooses to sign with the Hurricanes.
The Bridgeland, Texas, native took an official visit to Miami over the weekend and got the sense he could take a place in Hurricanes history.
“I’m going to continue the tradition of Tight End U,” Mikeska said. “My plan is to be the next great one at Miami, if that’s where I choose.”
Mikeska noted a meeting with Hurricanes offensive coordinator Josh Gattis where he discussed how he plans to deploy Miami’s current tight ends this season.
