DURHAM, N.C. — Miami Hurricanes starting defensive tackle Jon Ford, punter Lou Hedley and cornerback Tyrique Stevenson were ruled out for UM’s regular-season finale against Duke on Saturday at Wallace Wade Stadium, per 560-WQAM.
Stevenson was limited during Miami’s win over Virginia Tech last Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium, playing between 12-14 snaps in that matchup due to a shoulder injury.
Stevenson walked out of locker room an hour before game talking on the phone while wearing white jerseys and black sweatpants that other injured/non-active UM players were wearing on Saturday.
Coach Manny Diaz said during the week that there a chance Stevenson would available against the Blue Devils, but he was officially ruled out of the matchup 25 minutes before kickoff.
