Miami Hurricanes coach Mark Richt has spent a lot of time the week before for the season opener answering questions about whether the game would be used as opportunity to get a look at some of the younger players.
That’s what happens when UM opens against an opponent such as Bethune-Cookman, which is not expected to give the Hurricanes much of a fight. Expect that to change the next two years when the Hurricanes move up a notch in competition when they open against LSU and Florida, ending their recent run of starting against lesser opponents.
