Hurricanes’ new-look left side of offensive line looks to bring ’consistent, steady’ presence

The offseason of correcting the Miami Hurricanes’ offensive line — one which gave up 51 sacks last year — for coach Manny Diaz, new offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee and new offensive line coach Garin Justice is complete.

From left to right, it’ll be John Campbell, Ousman Traore, Corey Gaynor, DJ Scaife and Jarrid Williams. Returning starters Gaynor, the redshirt junior center, and Scaife at right guard were known while Williams was expected as a sixth-year senior grad transfer from Houston, following quarterback D’Eriq King in his move to Miami.

It’s a new look on the left side of the line with redshirt sophomores Campbell and Traore at tackle and guard, respectively.
