The Miami Hurricanes were able to defeat Duke 48-0 with 15 players unavailable over the weekend, and they almost had to go into Durham with several more out.
“We had, sort of, many out and then were all slowly coming back,” Miami coach Manny Diaz told 560-AM on Monday morning. “As it was getting closer and closer, the list, in essence, went down to 15. There were five or six that we found out could play Friday, the day before the game.
“It was kind of like that. We were sort of getting five cleared back a day.
