Two big wins pushed the Hurricanes back into the top 20 in this week’s Associated Press poll.
Miami, which picked up a home victory over Virginia Tech on Tuesday before beating then-No. 20 Clemson on the road, rose four spots to No. 19 in this week’s rankings.
However, FAU had its 20-game winning streak snapped on the road against Alabama-Birmingham, and the Owls fell out of the top 25. FAU, which was ranked 19th last week, is the top vote-getter outside of the rankings, effectively making the Owls No. 26 this week.
Florida Atlantic (22-2, 12-1 Conference USA) got back to winning with a victory over Charlotte on Saturday.
