Hurricanes keep rolling on recruiting trail, add 6-6 offensive lineman Juan Minaya

The Miami Hurricanes continued adding to its 2024 recruiting class on Tuesday, picking up its fourth commitment in five days.

New Jersey offensive lineman Juan Minaya committed to the Hurricanes on Tuesday afternoon, announcing his decision on his Twitter account.

Minaya is the first offensive lineman to join the Hurricanes’ 2024 class. Miami signed five offensive linemen in 2023, including five-star tackles Francis Mauigoa and Samson Okunlola.

Minaya, who is listed at 6-6 and 315 pounds, is currently unranked in 247Sports’ rankings but holds three-star rankings from other recruiting sites On3 and Rivals. The Paramus Catholic rising senior chose the Hurricanes over offers from 15 other teams, including Florida, Kentucky and Penn State.
