Hurricanes basketball to play in early-season Bahamas tournament

The Hurricanes basketball team, coming off its first trip to the Final Four, will play an early-season tournament against quality competition.

Miami will compete in the 2023 Baha Mar Bahama Hoops Championship along with Providence — UM coach Jim Larrañaga’s alma mater — and Kansas State, which made the Elite Eight this year. A fourth team, which will be determined later, will also play in the tournament.

The Hurricanes will play its two games in the tournament, which is held at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, on Nov. 17 and Nov. 19.

Miami is coming off two of the most successful seasons in program history.
