I love being wrong. That is, when I’m being down on the Miami Hurricanes.
The Canes proved me and a lot of other people wrong this week by escaping pod play in the ACC tournament to advance to the semifinals on Saturday. They did this with an impressive 8-7 win against #2 seed Clemson today. They defeated #7 Louisville on Tuesday 8-5.
I wrote in my Monday Musings article this week about the Canes losing in the 9-5 range this week. That turned out to not be true. Instead, it was the Canes who were flirting with 9 runs each game, thanks in part to hot starts from the bats.
