Several things went right for the Hurricanes over this past weekend. Not only did Miami defeat arch-rival Florida State, but they also hosted several of the top recruits in America, with many of past UM greats in attendance.
Recruiting news for the Hurricanes began to build up intensely days prior to their matchup when 5-star WR Jadon Haselwood decommitted from Georgia, when he had his official visit to Miami scheduled for the UM-FSU game. Saturday was Haselwood’s third visit to the University of Miami.
“I know his personality fits anywhere, but Miami is one of those places it gets really embraced,” said Jermaine Smith, Haselwood’s coach in Ellenwood, Georgia, in an interview with the Miami Herald.
