CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Juniors Jermaine Grace and Corn Elder both earned ACC Player of the Week honors following the Hurricanes’ thrilling 30-27 victory at 22nd-ranked Duke Saturday night on the road.
Grace earned ACC Linebacker of the Week honors after he totaled a career-high 17 tackles. The Florida native’s 17 tackles were the most by a Hurricane defensive player this season. In addition, Grace tallied one tackle for loss and one forced fumble. His nine solo tackles were also a single game career high.
Elder earned ACC Specialist of the Week following a game-winning touchdown, which will go down as one of the most thrilling plays in college football history.
