Former Miami Hurricanes defensive tackle Gerald Willis was out with an undisclosed injury and former UM defensive end Joe Jackson only participated in the bench press, vertical jump and the broad jump on Sunday at the NFL Combine.
Willis missed Miami’s Pinstripe Bowl loss to Wisconsin with a groin injury. There has been no verification if that is why he did not participate in the field drills in Indianapolis on Sunday. Willis is being projected as a late first or second round pick in next month’s NFL Draft in Nashville.
