Four-star WR Romello Brinson commits to Miami, gets back in Hurricanes’ recruiting class

Miami Northwestern four-star wide receiver Romello Brinson is back in the Miami Hurricanes’ 2021 recruiting class after announcing a commitment to UM on Instagram Live on Saturday night.

Brinson originally committed to Miami for the first time in February of 2019 and decommitted in November after the Hurricanes’ loss to FIU at Marlins Park. This time, he weighed his options among a top five that also included Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Texas A&M.

A 6-foot-2, 180-pound target, Brinson is considered the nation’s No. 25 wideout in the 2021 class and 132nd-ranked prospect regardless of position.

The Hurricanes are up to 16 commitments in the 2021 class.
