The Miami football players are former Hurricanes cornerback Antrel Rolle (2001-2004), defensive tackles Vince Wilfork (’01-’03), running back Stephen McGuire (’89-’92) and linebacker Scott Nicolas (’78-1981).
Center Constantin Popa is the basketball inductee, pitcher Cesar Carrillo (’04-’05) track and field star Tabia Charles Collins (’04-’06); and rower Dr. Jenny Krawec (’01-’04) are the other inductees in 2019. The 2019 Class is the 53rd in the history of the UM Sports Hall of Fame.
Nicholas’ induction is long overdue. He led the Miami football team in tackles in his final three seasons with the Hurricanes.
