Frank Gore, the former Miami Hurricane running back, who played as a true freshman, while making a significant contribution on the 2001 Miami Hurricanes Championship team, has an unassuming demeanor.
Gore has never been a flashy player, a trait that was cultivated, when he played for the Canes from 2001 to 2004. Although the semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame is not statistically among the all-time rushing leaders in Miami Hurricanes history, he became one of the most valuable and underrated players in the program's storied history.
