Former Hurricanes defensive lineman Darrell Jackson Jr. finds quick landing spot — with UM’s biggest rival

When the Hurricanes square off with rival Florida State in Tallahassee next season, there will be a familiar face on the opposing sideline.

Former UM defensive tackle Darrell Jackson Jr., who announced his plans to transfer from Miami on Monday, committed to the Seminoles on Wednesday. He announced his commitment on his Instagram page.

Jackson, a sophomore, is from Havana, a town in the Florida Panhandle.
