Florida punter Jack Spicer says he is transferring to Miami

The Hurricanes already have one former Florida punter on their roster and it looks like they are on their way to adding another one.

Jack Spicer announced on Twitter on Wednesday night that he was transferring to Miami. Spicer, who did not record any stats for the Gators last season, averaged 37.4 yards per punt at Estero High School where he also played tight end and earned All-Daily News First Team honors at that position.

Spicer will arrive in Coral Gables looking to compete with another punter who followed a similar path, Miami's Justin Vogel.
