Darnell Washington was praised throughout Paradise Camp last month for the chemistry he developed with incoming 2020 quarterback Tyler Van Dyke and his inability to be covered. Washington named the Miami Hurricanes as a destination for an official visit this fall with Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Auburn.
Miami being the outsiders as the lone ACC school among Washington’s choices for official visits speaks highly of the job Manny Diaz, offense coordinator Dan Enos and their staff are doing. Washington is the top-ranked athlete for 2020 but projected to play TE in college. He will be a playing TE at The Opening this week.
