TJ Olsen, the eight-year-old son of former Miami Hurricanes star and NFL Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen, provided an update Monday morning after undergoing a heart transplant on Friday.
“Hey everybody,” TJ said in a video posted on Greg Olsen’s Twitter account. “Thank you for thinking of me. Thank you for praying with me.”
Olsen, who made three Pro Bowls during his 14-year NFL career, tweeted on Friday that a heart donor was found for his his son, who was born with a congenital heart disease. TJ underwent surgery later that day.
