Miami won more often in the ESPN Football Power Index simulations for its final two games of the season at Virginia Tech on Saturday and Pittsburgh on November 29.

After beating North Carolina State 41-7 and blowout losses by Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech, the projections for Miami beating the Hokies and Panthers improved in the ESPN Football Power Index.
