Colbie Young’s path to Miami started with a text message.

“Absolutely,” Young responded.

Within two hours, Young was on the phone with UM coach Mario Cristobal.

“From there, it was just on and running,” Young said. The sophomore wide receiver announced he was transferring to the Hurricanes in June and arrived later in the summer. A couple of months later, the first-year Miami wide receiver is growing into one of the Hurricanes’ top playmakers.
