Miami's win over Bethune-Cookman may have gone under the radar as the Hurricanes weren't playing the highest level of opponents, but there was something that happened in that game that shouldn't go unnoticed.
In the game against Bethune-Cookman, Miami quarterback Carson Beck, who was making just his second start for the Hurricanes, is now officially in the record books. To start the game, Beck completed his first 15 passes to break the most consecutive completed passes in a row by a Hurricanes quarterback.
This was not an easy record to break, as it has held since 1986 when Vinny Testaverde had 14 consecutive passes against Oklahoma.
