C.J. Daniels and Malachi Toney have quickly established chemistry with Miami quarterback Carson Beck through the first two games in 2025. Daniels and Toney have erased doubts about Miami losing its top six receivers from the top-ranked offense nationally in 2024.
Daniels has 10 receptions for 119 yards and three touchdowns in Miami wins over Notre Dame and Bethune-Cookman through the first two wins of the 2025 season. Toney has 12 catches for 152 yards and one TD through the two games and he will not turn 18 until later this month.
Daniels had five receptions for 73 yards and two TDs versus Bethune-Cookman after recording five catches for 46 yards and a scintillating score in the 27-24 Miami win over Notre Dame in week one.
