Today is the first day of the 7 day college basketball early signing period. The coaching staff at the University of Miami men’s and women’s teams have been very busy on the recruiting trail while also managing through the start of the season.
The men’s squad led by Coach Jim Larrañaga officially signed two 4 star top 100 recruits in point guard Isaiah Wong and power forward Anthony Walker III. Wong who is 6-3, 170 hails from Trenton, N.J. but attends Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic HS was the Canes top target at the point. So much so that another top guard, Anthony Harris, cancelled his official visit after Wong committed.
