After cutting his list to 4 following his official visit to Miami, four star forward Anthony Walker III announced today he is going to be a Hurricane. The Canes beat out Pittsburgh, Illinois and Boston College for the commitment from the 6’ 9” 190 pound big man. Walker gives UM much needed help in the frontcourt as Miami graduates both Anthony Lawrence and Ebuka Izundu and even if Dewan Hernandez returns for his senior year next year there are minutes that needed to be filled.
Walker is wrapping up a prep stint at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire but hails from the talent rich Baltimore area.
