After getting shut out first two nights, Hurricanes end up with four NFL draftees

The Miami Hurricanes had to wait two long nights before any of their NFL draft prospects were selected, and they ended up with four draftees between rounds four through seven on Saturday.

While senior linebacker Shaq Quarterman, junior running back DeeJay Dallas, redshirt senior receiver K.J. Osborn and junior defensive end Jonathan Garvin found their first professional homes within the draft’s 255 picks, several went undrafted.

Four of UM’s players to attend the NFL scouting combine in February were not chosen, two of which declared a year early for the draft. That group consisted of junior cornerback Trajan Bandy, junior receiver Jeff Thomas, senior linebacker Michael Pinckney and redshirt senior defensive end Trevon Hill.
