After 'Canes second scrimmage, Richt moving closer to deciding on starting quarterback

Two scrimmages in, there’s still no definite answer on the Miami Hurricanes’ biggest question of camp.

But after three weeks of work, it seems as if Mark Richt is moving closer to naming a starting quarterback, the Miami coach saying on Saturday he’ll likely settle on a signal caller in the coming days.

Whether Richt makes his decision public, however, remains uncertain.

“I’ll watch film again. We’re about to watch it with the staff. We’ll watch it with the players today,” Richt said after Saturday’s scrimmage, which was closed to fans and reporters. “By Tuesday, I’ll have made up my mind.
