The combination of graduate transfer defensive end Quincy Roche, rising redshirt sophomore Greg Rousseau and rising redshirt junior Jaelan Phillips gives the Miami football program the best collection of edge rushers in college football in 2020. The depth behind those three would start on most college football teams.
Rousseau was seventh in FBS with 19.5 tackles for loss and second with 15.5 sacks in 2019. Roche was 10th nationally with 19 TFLs and seventh with 13 sacks. Roche was fifth nationally averaging one sack per game.
