Evidence Njoku made eight appearances for the Miami football team in 2019. Njoku recorded just one reception for 11 yards in 2018. At 6’6, 196 pounds Njoku will have a size advantage over defensive backs and a speed advantage over linebackers.
Njoku’s brother, former Miami tight end David, had a breakout season as a redshirt sophomore. David turned his breakout season into being a first-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2017. That’s not the expectation for Evidence this season, but the Hurricanes need him to become a contributor.
The Miami football team needs Njoku to give them another big target in the red zone.
