70 Days to Miami football: OL George Brown likely to be third-team

George Brown arrived in the Miami football program in 2016 after transferring from LSU. He was forced to sit out that season because of NCAA transfer rules. Brown redshirted his one season in Baton Rouge. That put three years of competitive action between his senior year of high school and first collegiate playing time in 2017.

Brown was a three-star signee with LSU out of Winton Woods high school in Cincinnati in the Class of 2015. He was the nation’s 476th ranked player, the 52nd best offensive tackle and 25th ranked player in Ohio in 2015 according to 247 Sports.
