Signing freshman cornerback Christian Williams was a big coup for the Miami football program. Williams flipped to the Hurricanes from Alabama. Williams was the 160th ranked player overall, 20th ranked cornerback and seventh-ranked player in Alabama in the class of 2019 according to 247Sports.Com.
Williams who rated four-stars coming out of high school has not had as high of praise during training thus far as Couch has. At 6’1 189 pounds, Williams has more size than the 5’9.5 165 pound Williams. Both players have put on weight since enrolling. Williams is up from 182 pounds and Couch from 148.
