I’ve been talking so much about recruiting targets for Miami in the 2021 class, I decided to switch it up, and take a quick look at a 2022 prospect, and it’s a good one. Right in the Canes backyard in South Florida, is 5-star edge rusher Shemar Stewartfrom Monsignor Pace High School in Dade County.
Stewart is a can’t miss prospect, and 247 Sports has Stewart ranked as both the #1 egde rusher and overall player in Florida, as well as #2 player nationally, regardless of position. The website has Stewart listed at 6-5 and 236 pounds.
