12 Days to Miami football: Malik Rosier 2018 preview

Rosier stepped up last season replacing the Miami football program’s all-time leading passer Brad Kaaya. Rosier set two Miami records of his own last season on the way to leading the Hurricanes to a 10-3 record, the football program’s first outright ACC Coastal Division title and trip to the ACC Championship game.

Rosier accounted for 31 touchdowns last season, 26 passing and five rushing. That eclipsed Vinny Testaverde’s previous school record of 30 set in 1986. Rosier also set the school total offense record with 3,588 yards in a season. That broke Stephen Morris’ school record of 3,415 set in 2012.
